By registering for an account or using any part of the MyProRating service, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
MyProRating is a professional reputation platform that allows individuals ("Professionals") to collect verified reviews from clients, colleagues, and employers. Employers may create accounts to view reviews from linked team members. The platform is not a staffing agency, recruitment service, or employment verification provider.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
- One person may not maintain more than one professional account.
4. Reviews and Content
Reviews submitted through MyProRating must reflect the genuine opinion of the reviewer. By submitting a review, you represent that:
- You have a real, first-hand experience with the professional you are reviewing.
- The content is truthful, accurate, and not defamatory.
- You are not submitting the review on behalf of the professional being reviewed or in exchange for compensation.
MyProRating does not independently verify the accuracy or validity of individual reviews. Professionals who believe a review is false or inaccurate are encouraged to flag it for investigation using the reporting tools available on the platform. MyProRating reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these terms.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent reviews.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual.
- Attempt to access another user's account without authorisation.
- Use automated tools to scrape, index, or harvest data from the platform.
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
6. Subscription and Billing
Certain features of MyProRating require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
The MyProRating platform, including its design, branding, and software, is the property of MyProRating and its licensors. Reviews and content submitted by users remain the property of the respective user, but you grant MyProRating a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform.
8. Disclaimers
MyProRating is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any review or profile. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyProRating shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of revenue, reputation, or data.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
