Getting Started
MyProRating is a professional reputation platform that lets individuals collect verified reviews from clients, colleagues, and managers. Your reviews stay with you — not your employer — so your reputation travels wherever your career takes you.
Yes. You can create a free account and start collecting reviews immediately. Free accounts can receive up to 10 verified reviews. The Pro plan ($9/month) removes that limit and unlocks additional features like employer linking and advanced analytics.
Click "Get Started Free" on the home page, enter your name and email, and verify your email address. You'll instantly get a personal portal link you can share with clients and colleagues to collect reviews.
No. MyProRating is entirely web-based. You and your reviewers just need a browser.
Reviews
When someone submits a review, they must verify their email address before the review is published. This ensures reviews come from real people and prevents spam. Unverified reviews are held pending and never shown publicly.
Reviews cannot be edited after submission — this protects their integrity. You cannot delete a review yourself, but you can flag it for investigation if you believe it violates our Terms of Service. Our team will review flagged submissions.
No. Reviewers must provide their name and email address, and verify that email. While their email is not shown publicly on your profile, it is held on file for verification and investigation purposes.
MyProRating verifies that reviewers are real people with valid email addresses, but we do not independently verify the content of each review. If you believe a review contains false information, you can flag it from your portal page and our team will investigate.
Yes. From your dashboard under Reviews, you can write a professional response to any review. Your response will appear publicly below the original review.
Once a free account has 10 verified reviews, new review submissions from visitors will be politely declined. Your existing reviews remain visible. Upgrading to Pro removes the limit immediately.
Employers
Employer linking is a Pro feature that lets you connect your MyProRating account to your employer's account. Once linked, your employer can see your reviews in their team dashboard. You stay in full control — you can stop sharing at any time.
Employer dashboard access is always opt-in — if an employer invites you, you must accept before your reviews appear in their dashboard. You can toggle sharing off or unlink completely at any time. However, if your profile is set to public, anyone with your portal link — including your employer — can view your profile and the reviews displayed there, just like any other visitor. If you want to prevent your reviews from being visible to anyone, set your profile to private from the Employer tab in your dashboard.
Declining an invitation simply means your reviews won't appear in that employer's dashboard. Your public profile and all your reviews remain completely unaffected — visitors can still find and read your profile as normal.
Yes. From your dashboard under the Employer tab, you can toggle your public profile visibility. When set to private, your reviews will not be visible to the public. People can still submit reviews to your portal — they just won't be publicly displayed until you make your profile public again.
Click "Register Your Company" on the home page to create an employer account. Once verified, you can invite professionals from your Invites page. Employer accounts require a subscription ($49/month) to access the team dashboard and invite features.
Billing & Subscriptions
Go to Dashboard → Subscription and click "Upgrade to Pro". You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete payment. Your account is upgraded immediately after payment.
Yes, at any time. Go to Dashboard → Subscription and click "Manage Billing". From the Stripe billing portal you can cancel your plan. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Yes. All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider. MyProRating never stores your full card number.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you've been charged in error, please contact our support team.
Your reviews are never deleted. If you downgrade, you'll retain all existing reviews. New submissions will be capped at 10 visible reviews, and employer linking will be disabled (your linked employer won't see future updates until you re-subscribe).
